LITTLE LEAGUE FIELD GETS A MAJOR FACELIFT!
Councilman Tanelli calls the upgrade an investment in kids!

NORTH ARLINGTON - While the bats and balls have been put away for 2008, the borough's little leaguers will have plenty to look forward to come the Spring of 2009 as the North Arlington Little League is getting a major facelift with new sod in both the infield and outfield as well as new clay throughout the playing field and warning track.
"This is an investment in kids. An investment in our infrastructure and just the right thing to do. As a councilman, it's gratifying when we can make these recreational upgrades for the hundreds of kids who will use this field come next season," said Tanelli, the borough's liaison for recreation.
"My kids played on that field. My wife and I watched many a game and I'm happy to see we can make the necessary improvements for next season," said Mayor Pete Massa, a retired NAPD sergeant and former school trustee.
